JOB SUMMARY: Working closely with the Americas CFO, senior business leaders and financial sponsors, this key role is charged with empowering the D&F business to achieve financial objectives and managing operational and financial processes. The Director, Finance - D&F must understand the operations of the business and how the financial systems, accounting, capital structure, and operating policies all interrelate to help ensure the business achieves both short and long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be able to articulate past results with a strong focus on how to project and enhance future results. This individual will guide the development of a financial strategy to include revenue, profit, balance sheet and cash flow maximization.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage internal financial and business reporting to provide management with timely and useful information to facilitate business decisions and drive business performance. Identify business, financial trends, and variances to plan.

  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, forecasting, and support other ad-hoc financial projects.

  • Drive the implementation and operationalization of key performance metrics.

  • Prepare and monitor the business's annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.

  • Work with Senior Leadership to establish annual financial targets and goals for the business.

  • Support Americas CFO in ensuring efficient use of capital, supporting cash management and establishing a tax-effective operating model.

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes. Benchmark performance against competition with available information.

  • Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial review meetings with Operations leadership and Corporate leadership.

  • Lead/enhance/mentor a business partner-oriented team focused on Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Support (e.g. compensation plan, deal desk support, business analysis), and some Accounting (e.g. percentage of completion).

  • Establish and oversee the implementation of efficient, well-controlled financial processes.

  • Manage a small team of functionally-focused finance resources and establish strong business partner relationships with functional department heads.

  • Build out tools and systems for distribution of financial information and "real-time" operational reporting. Lead efforts to help define and evolve financial and operational metrics of the D&F Business.

  • Develop tools to drive visibility into opportunities to help reduce costs, grow revenues, and produce high-quality financial information. Using standard financial techniques and knowledge of the industry, provide analysis that identifies and answers key strategic issues within the D&F Business.

  • Build relationships and partnerships across departments to thoroughly understand how all the pieces fit together, how information is used and can be used by various functions within the D&F Business.

  • Serve as a partner to the D&F Business; supporting business unit leadership in assessing strategic options, analyzing data, and providing recommendations.

  • Build strong executive partnerships with the executive team and other key leaders.




Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, analysis, and projections.

  • Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling.

Education and Experience:



  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership and reporting experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred.

  • Has worked in a company using US GAAP and is familiar with the SOX internal control framework




Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.

Other Relevant Information: This position may require up to 10% travel to various sites.


The base salary range for this role is $148,800 to $223,100. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
