Job Summary
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
- Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
- Responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

- Post High School Diploma Program
- Graduate of a Surgical Tech program - Required.
Experience
- At least one year of Surgical Technologist experience in acute care setting
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification

Reading Hospital is a Center for Bariatric Surgery, total joints, cardiac, DaVinci Robot, ENT, Ortho, GYN, Breast Stereotaxic program and a Level I Trauma Center caring for 17,000 patients undergoing surgical procedures each year. Reading Hospital has 24 operating rooms, 4 with hybrid capabilities, including robotic surgery.
