Job Description:

Underthe supervision of the Nurse Manager or designate, functions as a member of thenursing team who assists in providing basic care under the directsupervision of a nurse. Also performsfunctional assignments defined by the Nurse Manager and which facilitatetherapeutic services provided to patients.



Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.


Requires good verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills necessary to deal with patients and staff. Work presents potential exposure to communicable disease and hazardous materials. Work requires moderate to heavy lifting of patients and equipment. Work requires that a majority of time is spent with either walking or standing.


Preferred C. N. A. certification and BLS.
