The Fetal Intervention Sonographer provides high-level maternal fetal sonographic functions (vascular technology, obstetrics/gynecology, echocardiography, neurosonography). Provide sonographic support during intraoperative fetal interventions and fetal surgeries. We are looking for a talented MFM Sonographer who is ready to take their career to the next level. Come and join the Fetal Surgery team at the UT Health's Fetal Center. Sonographers at the Fetal Center help diagnose a wide variety of fetal anomalies that involve every organ system including cardiac anomalies. Sonographers at the Fetal Center also actively participate in state-of-the-art fetal surgeries by providing direct ultrasound guidance and fetal heart monitoring in the operating room. Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm
Position Key Accountabilities:
ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
(FE) ARDMS or ARRT - Fetal Echocardiography - Must receive certification within 2 years of being in the role.
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or its equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years experience in OB, diagnostic maternal/fetal ultrasound required.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive:
This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
