Role description:

With the support of one of the industry's leading technical and professional organizations, the Digital Analytics Lead will support a growing base of projects throughout Infrastructure business in the U.S. market. This opportunity needs a dynamic individual looking for career growth and offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow professionally, while working on a wide variety of engineering projects alongside dedicated and experienced staff.

The Candidate will help our clients optimize their engineering projects and businesses by being a part of project planning, information automation, management, and analytics. The candidate will play a crucial role in improving the performance of projects and construction activities on transportation projects. The candidate will also participate in the growth of clients and teams focused on delivering digital implementation.

Role accountabilities:


  • Manage and oversee the technical development of digital tools, including dashboards, apps, automations, and custom digital solutions for transportation engineering projects.
  • Coordinate with internal leadership to identify and implement digital solutions that streamline project delivery, enhance business operations, and provide data analytics insights.
  • Engage with external clients to understand their challenges, co-develop solutions, and manage the development teams tasked with creating digital solutions.
  • Collaborate and act as a liaison with Mobility business leadership, subject matter experts, digital teams, and other engineering departments and subject matter experts to develop and manage a pipeline of custom digital tools and initiatives.
  • Support the growth of the digital analytics team by fostering professional development, expanding the team through strategic hiring, and forming partnerships with other internal groups.
  • Develop and refine processes aimed at increasing user engagement with digital tools, including systems for tracking engagement, defining product ownership, and creating toolkits for product owners to enhance solution engagement.
  • Standardize development processes for custom digital applications to ensure efficient management of digital initiatives and a robust customer experience.
  • Work closely with other disciplines within the Digital Engineering Group to integrate BIM, user experience, contract management, and technical expertise into the development of custom digital solutions.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting analytics literacy and data best practices across the Mobility business.
  • Identify and integrate new technologies and data sources that can enhance the analytics capabilities of the organization.
  • Collaborate with UX team members to enhance the visualization/usability of dashboards, apps, and other tools to maximize the end user's experience.
  • Liaise with IT and security teams to ensure the infrastructure supporting digital tools is robust, secure, and scalable.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in digital analytics to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
  • Drive the strategic use of data by working with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business objectives.
  • Champion the use of analytics and insights in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Provide thought leadership on the use of data and analytics to solve complex business challenges.
  • Manage budget and resources for the Digital Analytics group, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within financial constraints.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications


  • Degree in technical field that will support transportation projects and analytics, business intelligence, and related custom digital application development.
  • 10 or more years' experience, including experience in delivering analysis and insights along with experience working with analytics in the engineering domain.
  • Analytical Tools: Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate
  • Skills: Data Modeling, Data Management, Client Management

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $85000 - $105000.
