Overview

Duties of Position:

• Answers telephone, takes and distributes messages and provides information as appropriate
• Schedules appointments in scheduling software to facilitate access to advising and orientation appointments in the student portal
• Delivers individual and group orientation presentations
• Guides students on virtual and/or in-person college and My Harper portal tours
• Assists with call campaigns

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)

Experience Requirements: A successful candidate must be able to maintain confidentially of the department. Prior customer service or office experience is preferred.

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours:

Sunday Monday8 am - 7 pm Tuesday8 am - 7 pm Wednesday8 am - 7 pm Thursday8 am - 7 pm Friday8 am - 4:30 pmSaturday8 am - 12 pm (only on final registration week)

Maximum hours per week: 20
