Our client is a leader in the Data Center owner/operator market and is on an impressive trajectory following their private acquisition in the tens of billions. They're now looking to onboard a Vice President of Operations Engineering to enable their expansion and set standards across their entire portfolio.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively across operations teams (Design / Construction / Solutions) to ensure elite-level customer satisfaction/success
Ensure 100% uptime across day-to-day site operations and keep track of performance
Provide solutions to reduce operational costs and maximize infrastructure utilization
Manage project work with field operations, cross-functional teams and customers to highlight engineering changes and implement standardization across sites
Engage in data center capacity and roadmap planning with sales implementations customer success and portfolio management
Robust knowledge of client SLAs and engineering-specific lease obligations for data center operations
Work with IT teams to confirm solid integration with data center operations and effective communication
Establish strong operational standards across the whole portfolio
Requirements
10+ years of experience holding a leadership position across Data Center or Critical Infrastructure
Proficiency in creating technical documentation and analysis of schematics and development drawings
Strong knowledge of capacity planning, airflow management, power distribution, DCIM software, structured cabling/cable management, and environmental monitoring
Track record of leading and developing successful teams
