Erie Family Health Centers is looking for an addition to our process improvement team. A Senior Process Improvement Leader is the most experienced process improvement practitioner at Erie Family Health Centers. Supports organization-wide performance/quality improvement, and compliance programs. The role will serve as a project manager for multiple initiatives at any given time at the agency level, guiding the project team, driving appropriate analyses, meeting project goals, managing timelines, and working with the executive sponsor and business owner to successfully implement the plan, new processes, technology or strategies. Trains and mentors Leadership Team on process improvement principles and methodologies. Participates in performance measurement and contributes to development and execution of quality management and improvement plans.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partners with executive and senior leadership on strategic projects and improvements.
  • Applies process improvement principles, such as SIPOC, value stream maps, root cause analyses, control charts, and PFMEA to identify waste and lead complex, inter-departmental initiatives across the agency.
  • Facilitates enterprise-level project teams/task forces in process improvement efforts independently. .
  • Utilizes data analyses through pareto charts and advanced statistics to advise project teams on opportunities for improvement.
  • Promotes a Safety Culture and familiar with activities needed for a High Reliability organization.
  • Facilitates long-form facilitated meetings, such as Work Out and Kaizen.
  • Partners with Chief Population Health Officer and Chief Clinical Officer to maintain an ongoing quality measurement program consistent with principles of continuous quality improvement and quality assurance.
  • Applies data visualization principles for summary reports and presentations of projects, initiatives, and data.
  • Shadows work streams to make note of turnaround times and process orders.
  • Interviews process owners and end users to understand voice of customer.
  • Utilizes A3 Thinking and Leader Standard Work in approach to improvement projects.
  • Creates project plans and ensure team stays on track by managing timelines and tasks.
  • Employs change management techniques for implementation of improvement initiatives, through communication, VoC, stakeholder engagement, and training.
  • Facilitates Process Improvement training classes in Change Management, Meeting Facilitation, and Excel.
  • Engages in leadership activities and special projects as assigned.

Education
  • BA/BS Required
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5 years project management experience required
