Local Medical Device Equipment company seeking an energized customer service representative to join their team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients.
Communicates with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner.
Involved, as directed, in all aspects of the intake process: answering the phone and processing faxes, collecting patient and referral source information, inputting data into appropriate systems, assembling charts and processing paperwork.
Prepares delivery tickets for daily routes.
Prepares complete and accurate files for billing department.
Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company.
Provide technical assistance to customers, as appropriate.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medi-Cal, private insurances and regulatory body regulations.
Assist in the upkeep of the general office area(s).
Assist in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate.
Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company policy.
Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy.
Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
Participate in Company committees when requested.
Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities, including but not limited to industry specific update training, CEUs related to certifications
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
