Located in our Woodridge, IL facility and reporting to the Safety Director. The Safety Department Administrator will support our Safety Director and the Field Safety Coordinator in executing various safety programs, processes, and procedures. This is a temporary position with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri from May 28, 2024 - August 30, 2024. May be extended up to two weeks if needed.
Responsibilities:
Background Checks & Motor Vehicle Reports on new hires and current employees
Safety Software (SiteDocs)
of THA's, Toolbox Talks, Tech Tips
and compiling of data from Foreman, Superintendent, Safety, & Management Audits.
New Hire Safety Onboarding.
Workers Compensation files.
Field drug testing for all union locals.
training and drug testing for TRMA.
Avetta, Gatefeed, ISN hours & training.
Safety and specialty training for all employees.
and Calibration of meters.
division glove change out.
& help coordinate mask fitting.
Shop audit logs.
Accident logs.
of crane picks, helicopter picks, and confined space jobs.

Qualifications:
Two years of experience in construction safety (commercial /industrial).
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Understanding of labor laws and OSHA, DOT, Worker's Comp., Drug and Alcohol Policies & Procedures, minimal Industrial Hygiene, minimal Environmental Reg.
Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of trades in a diverse workforce.
Skilled in the use of computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Safety Audit Software).
