Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new, qualified leads through various methods of outreach including telephone calls, email campaigns and other marketing efforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a strong pipeline of new and existing customers through customer contact and prospecting.
  • Effectively communicate D. C. Taylor Co. services to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with team to create a plan for follow up activities with current and prospective customers.
  • Research select industries to identify lead generation sources for marketing projects.
  • Gather prospective customer information to track in Microsoft CRM for use in future marketing and prospecting activities.
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop content.
  • Execute delivery of marketing projects.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates actively in ongoing process improvement projects.
  • Ongoing evaluation of our Microsoft CRM structure and make recommendations for efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as required and directed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous office experience required.
  • High energy and tactful, with ability to learn quickly.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enjoys achieving measurable results.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft CRM, Google Earth, SharePoint, and social media/networking sites preferred.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain a database with accurate and grammatically correct information.
  • Current and valid driver's license required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Business hours are flexible but must be between Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekend travel and work associated with offsite meetings, seminars, and training.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for long periods of time.
  • Occasional travel to other D. C. Taylor Co. offices may be necessary.

Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 yearly
