ECS is seeking a Change Management Specialist to work in our Washington DC office.



Job Description:


ECS requires a Change Management Specialist to support VHA's Office of Health Informatics (OHI) Strategic Investment Management or the business' health information technology (health IT) needs by providing the information that leaders need to make sound decisions. This includes measuring success, outcomes, and the improvement of programs. To assist OHI in managing multiple, concurrent transformation initiatives, the Change Management Specialist will plan and organize work, prioritize projects, and deliver and monitor business results. Regular client interaction, including potentially daily scrum meetings, facilitate scheduling of activities, developing executive level briefings and white papers, and rebalancing resources. The ECS Change Management Specialist will exhibit a well-recognized ability to rapidly engage and leverage knowledge of VHA program operations and the Administration's previously established goals and objectives to support a range of high-profile initiatives.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 4.
  • The Management Analyst should have direct experience with program management and implementation, health system operations, and client management.



Desired Skills:

  • The Change Management Specialist should have direct experience with program management and implementation, health system operations, and client management.
  • The Change Management Specialist should help plan collaboration and assist the functional area IPTs in data collection, coordination, and reporting.
  • As a team member, the Change Management Specialist should understand personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment and proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and feedback.
  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information, and communicating potential conflicts.
  • The Change Management Specialist should have a change management certification, such as Prosci and have experience in communications and change management.
  • Experience in VHA is ideal.
