Description: Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling small metal mechanical products or services. This role involves evaluating inquiries, handling sales lead calls, and providing technical expertise to clients.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Evaluate website inquiries to determine if company can manufacture needed parts.
Handle inbound sales lead calls and convert them into sales.
Review blueprints, specifications, and other customer documents to develop cost estimates.
Quote prices and terms, preparing sales orders for obtained orders.
Establish delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
Provide product samples to qualified customers.
Enter new customer data, part numbers, and other sales information into the computer database (ERP system).
Record customer part information, job routing sequences, and Bill of Materials (BOM) in the database.
Propose changes in equipment, processes, or materials to improve cost efficiency.
Offer technical services related to the development of new products.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Investigate and resolve quality issues and delivery problems for customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
AA Degree and/or 6+ years experience. Degree would be preferred, but not limited
6+ years experience working in Sales / Engineer position
Ability to work independently or with the team, set priorities, and multitask
Strong organization and time management skills with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
Microsoft office proficiency
Excellent communication skills with the ability to "build relationships" with customers to drive high customer satisfaction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Must Be Willing To Work Onsite
