Who we are looking for.

We are looking for self-motivated hands-on Cloud AI/ML Developer for state street's AML Transformation program. Candidate will closely work with Technical and business teams based in Boston in an agile fashion to develop technical solution for AML Transaction Monitoring and other compliance Program.

What you will be responsible for

• Be responsible for the application development using Python, Scala and similar programming languages.


• Develop AI and ML based solution to solve complex business problems.


• Assume the ownership from development to Production rollout.


• Working in multi-location agile environment in the alignment with business and technology teams.


• Following application Development, Data engineering, Performance and security standards.

• Self-driven, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills.


• Strong Hands-on large scale, multi-tenant development experience.


• Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and senior management.


• Ability to learn and adept to new tools and technologies quickly.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience


• 3+ years of experience as a developer on cloud and ML technologies

• Research and Devlopment of AI/ML and GenAI technologies in context with AML Compliance solutions.


• Development assistance for AML cloud transformation using Scala/Python and similar programming languages.


• Document the best practices and strategies associated with application deployment and infrastructure support.


• Produce reusable, efficient, and scalable programs, and also cost-effective migration strategies.


• Develop Data Engineering and ML pipelines in Databricks, Implement ML Models and Model Governance.


• Comfortable to work on tight timelines, when required.

• Good decision-making and problem solving skills


• Understanding of AI/ML and LLM techniques.


• Solid understanding of AWS cloud/Databricks fundamentals/architecture.

• Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices


• Hands-on experience in different domains, like database architecture, business intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, big data, etc.


• Application migration of RDBMS, java/python applications, model code, elastic etc.


• Solid programming background on scala, python


• Experience with AML or similar financial Compliance Application is a Plus.

This role may require occasional L4 production support and weekend release support. Moderate Database/SQL knowledge is expected.

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $120,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
