Cragun's Resort on Gull Lake has an incredible opportunity to join our Food and Beverage Team in a Leadership Role! The Resort DR and Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing high quality dining experiences in a number of our outlets: Irma's Kitchen, Bear Trap Bar and the Cabana Cafe. A successful candidate in this position is customer service oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic about creating and excellent food service environment.
• Ensures smooth and timely opening or Irma's Kitchen, Bear Trap Bar, and Cabana Cafe
• Assigns FOH staff to designated sections and all other staff to appropriate side work
• Assists service staff during mealtime as needed
• Working the floor during service hours and coaching team members as needed
• Assist Food and Beverage Manager in training staff
• Assists in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guideline for service staff
• Assists in ensuring an adequate number of service employees for each shift and ensures absences are covered
• Knows the descriptions of all menu items
• Assists the Food and Beverage Manager in hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating staff
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
• Immediately reports unsafe incidents or unsafe working conditions when they occur
• Handles guest and customer concerns professionally and in a timely fashion
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned


Requirements
• Previous restaurant experience, showing a progressive advancement in responsibilities
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Requires the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic
• Must be able to deal with the public tactfully and diplomatically
• Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics
• Must have a high regard for customer service and employee relations
• Always maintain a professional image
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently
• Must be at least 21 years of age
