What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst who can do more with Mohawk.
This position is responsible for leading the business-side of the global ESG data platform.
What you'll do:
Support the Sr Sustainability Manager with data efforts across (ESG) environment, social and governance data
Lead project-based work that could include but is not limited to projects specific to gathering and validating data for regulatory reporting (EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy, California Climate Rules), voluntary frameworks (GRI, TCFD, SASB), surveys (CDP Climate, CDP Water, CSA), and any additional needed data for the annual ESG report in the global ESG data platform
Lead the ongoing maintenance of global ESG data platform, including but not limited to communications with data providers, training of new users, setting up new users/sites/metrics, and working with IT partner on any failed data uploads or new APIs required
Lead work to create dashboards and visualizations in the global ESG data platform or within PowerBI for business teams to performance manage sustainability targets across targets, including emissions/energy, product circularity, and people-related targets
Create, enhance or streamline processes with cross-functional, cross-geography business teams for data collection process flows
Create and implement accuracy checks and measures and processes for systems reconciliation
Analyze collected data for accuracy and completion and assist finance and accounting partners in validations and setting controls
Be an internal subject matter expert on ESG data points for frameworks, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions as part of the GHG Protocol and targets as part of an SBT (Science-Based Target)
Partner with internal audit and ESG compliance partners to assist in implementing, maintaining, and validating controls for ESG data within the global ESG data platform.
Continuous learning in trends in sustainability targets and goals, such as Net Zero, water-related, circularity-related goals, DEI-related goals, pollution-related goals, etc.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in data science, information systems, computer science, or related technical field required
3 to 4 years of experience implementing and coordinating data processes and programs
Advanced experience with Excel and PowerBI required
Experience with business systems such as SAP, Oracle, APIs welcomed
What you're good at:
Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form
Leading project-based work from start to finish
Understanding data flows and how to build efficient, replicable processes
Creating strong data governance
Database development and maintenance
Working independently or collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise andprofessionalism
Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
