KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Jabil, a global leader in manufacturing, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mold Repair Technician for our plastic injection molding plant in Atlanta, GA (located near the airport)! In this role you will be maintaining and repairing injection molds used for plastic injection molding!

• Pay: Up to 35/hr DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance on Injection Molds.


• Perform repairs and tests on injection molds.


• Store and maintain validated components.


• Stores non-validated components.


• Follows all procedures and training.


• Maintains excellent attendance.


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


• Possible overtime.

REQUIREMENTS AND KNOWLEDGE

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must have experience repairing injection molds and using hot runners


• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated Hands-on experience in the required process.


• Advanced Knowledge in the area that is being assigned.


• Relentless in exploring new and latest methods in improving assembly techniques.


• Lead Process and Equipment Evaluation aligned to the needs of Site as assigned by the ME Manager.


• Knowledge in Basic Statistics and knowledge of carrying a DOE is a plus.


• Understanding of DFM/A, FMEA and IPC requirements.


• Able to write technical reports for the Site.
