Procurement Specialist at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Washington, Washington DC

Job Description:

Our client, a non-profit health and research-based organization, is seeking a temporary Procurement Specialist to support their office in Washington, DC!


Responsibilities:

• Partner with business owners to develop agreements supporting operational departments, focusing on strategic alignment and expertise.


• Execute full procurement life cycle processes, advising on best practices and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.


• Review procurement requests, evaluate cost/price proposals, and negotiate contracts in coordination with technical experts and business units.


• Complete contract closeouts, independently analyze data, reconcile documentation, resolve matters with contractors, and ensure compliance and settlement of all issues.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of vendor and/or procurement experience.


• A bachelor's degree preferred.


• Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint is required.


• Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills.

Position Information:

• Pays $40-$48/hr


• Temporary for 6 months


• Hybrid onsite schedule, 1 day in office


• Office in Washington, DC


• Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
