Sr. Technical Writer

This is a hybrid-remote position.


Provides senior level technical writing subject matter expertise to the MAA and MA Program Office.



In this role you will....

• Producing high-quality and user-friendly product documentation


• Ensure the organization of documentation meets the needs of the clients


• Focusing on continuous improvement in deliverables

Experience Requirements:

• This position requires a highly motivated professional who is courteous, flexible, proactive, organized, and an energetic self-starter. The position requires a clearly demonstrated interest in public policy, defense, and security studies.


• Two (2) years or more of DoD experience in engineering field and mission planning, active duty, civilian or contractor


• Two (2) years or more of experience executing higher headquarters MA program reviews and installation level MA assessments

Education Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Crime, Law, and Justice or a protection related field.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to attain TS SCI level clearance.

Other Requirements:

• Requires travel minimum 50% of the time


• May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds


• Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings


• Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism


• Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others


• Effective verbal and written communication skills

This position is contingent on funding.
