Job Summary



ULTRASOUND - PRN - MULTIPLE POSITIONS


The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for the complete and accurate performance of all aspects of the technical procedures required in the daily operations of the Section of Ultrasound under the direction of both the physician Section Chief and Lead Technologist of the Section of Ultrasound.


The Ultrasound Tech:


  • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations

  • Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images

  • Analyses; sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician

  • Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician and performs other work-related duties as assigned

  • Relevant Job Related Experience Preferred.
