Director, Dietetic Internship and Community Nutrition
General Summary/Overview Statement:

As the Director, you'll oversee program development, accreditation compliance, and strategic planning under the guidance of the Director of Nutrition and Food Services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Dietetic Internship: Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, oversee curriculum development, and maintain program records.
Lead Ambulatory Nutrition and Community Nutrition Practices: Supervise outpatient care, monitor WIC program operations, and maintain quality standards.
Financial Management: Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and seek funding opportunities through grants and contracts.
Staff Supervision: Mentor dietitians, provide performance assessments, and facilitate professional development.
Public Relations and Community Engagement: Represent the organization in educational initiatives, maintain alumni relations, and build partnerships within the community.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations:
RD Required, LDN Required
Membership with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics with Affiliated Practice Groups Required
Education:
Master's Degree in Nutrition, Education, or Related Field
Experience:
10 years of experience in Community Based Nutrition Care
5 or more years of experience teaching dietetic interns
Previous experience as Dietetic Internship Director preferred
Supervisory Responsibility:
Oversight of 10+ employees
Working Conditions:
Out-patient clinical sites and MGH Community Health Centers
Travel to off-campus sites required
