We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our team for a comprehensive, 10-week paid summer internship program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of sales and business development. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Sales Intern will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, customer relationship management, and sales strategy development.

This role is ideally based in IDC’s Needham, MA headquarters with a hybrid work schedule. We will also consider qualified candidates in approved remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lead generation activities
• Assist in maintaining and updating customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales activities
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
• Provide support to the sales team as needed

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• A desire to launch a Sales career
• Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proactive and results-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
