SE has significant US operations as well as operations in Canada with a combined population of approximately 3,700 employees.


This position will be an addition to the Corporate Finance team. As the Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex business and financial models to support strategic planning, various growth initiatives/business opportunities, forecasting and budgeting. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support various aspects of our strategic plan, including valuation modeling and updating financial models related to liquidity and capital structure


• Revamp existing financial models to enhance accuracy and reliability, particularly in light of ongoing projects, tuck-ins, and business transformations


• Collaborate with business partners and operational departments to develop business cases and support strategic decision-making


• Utilize extensive finance background to perform valuations, analyze financing structures, and demonstrate technical knowledge of financial measurements, ratios, and KPIs to inform decision-making


• Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations based on financial modeling outcomes


• Possess a high level of financial statement literacy and the ability to differentiate between accounting and cash for DCF modeling


• Special projects as required. Support various analysis and ad hoc analysis as required

• Accounting/Finance/Business Degree, MBA/CPA a plus


• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial modelling


• Strong decision making and analytical skills and ability to prioritize.


• Independent self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and proactive approach to engaging with stakeholders.


• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.


• Exceptional time management and strong business acumen, able to meet strict deadlines and translate business opportunities into financial models
