Job Description:

CFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is in search of an experienced Floating Member Relationship Representative. This individual will support CFCU’s member experience team by consistently providing members, potential members, and co-workers with exceptional service in person, over the phone, and through email. The ideal candidate will have consumer loan sales experience preferred with products including, but not limited to credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, and home equity products.

 Responsibilities:

  

  • Assist members and potential members with their financial needs by promoting CFCU deposit products and services. 
  • Travel to various branches to provide coverage as needed and assigned by supervisor.
  • Support and -fill in on the teller line as needed.
  • Make qualified referrals to Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Lending as appropriate.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell CFCU deposit and lending products and services to our members through various means of communication (in person, telephone, email). Make qualified referrals to Wealth Management, Mortgage and      Business Lending as appropriate.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to educate the member on products and services that can improve their financial position.
  • To actively participate in the Sales Incentive Program, contributing to team and organizational sales goals.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • To provide branch support by working at various CFCU branches as assigned by supervisor.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in consumer loan sales, processing, and funding with products including, but not limited to credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, and home equity products.
  • Proven sales ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
  • Ability to work independently as well as successfully in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulations relating to all Credit Union products and services (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Reg DD).
  • Ability to use windows software, computer keyboard and mouse, email, ShoreTel phone system, calculator, scanner, fax and copy machine.

Note: There are 3 progression levels to Member Relationship Representative position. If a candidate possesses other skills than what's listed above, they will be considered for other levels and the new pay ranges will be disclosed.
