Job Description:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects at Kroger Regional Accounting Service Center (RASC). Demonstrate the company s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree accounting, or 3+ years relevant experience managing multiple projects in finance and accounting
- 3+ years of technology-based systems experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good organizational skills and the ability to function effectively in a multi-task environment
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Ability to make independent judgments and sound decisions

Desired
- 1 year of prior leadership experience
- Understanding of SAFe
- Project management experience
- Understanding of accounting and finance systems
- Experience with Jira- Partner with RASC department managers, RASC senior leadership, Kroger General Office, divisions and business units to define scope, goals and deliverables of assigned projects
- Act as a liaison between RASC and other business units regarding assigned projects
- Define project tasks and resource requirements and plan/schedule multiple project timelines
- Manage/track project changes; identify problems and implement solutions to achieve project outputs
- Monitor and report out on project progress to all stakeholders
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift with the understanding that travel may be up to 50% of schedule
- Travel to divisions, General Office, and other locations to complete projects
- Use discretion and maintain confidentially of files, conversations and documents
