About the Role Offer decision will be made in May with a Mid June start date. This position will work Onsite at our Rogers Center of Excellence and interviews will be conducted at this location as well.
The Associate Manager, Operations is responsible for managing a team while designing, executing, and reporting on standard work processes to ensure that the transportation solution for each account is fully maintained for accuracy and efficiency.
What the Candidate Will Do
Provide leadership, management, coaching, training and support to a team and execute all other responsibilities
Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions
Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement in regard to processes, cost, service, and profitability
Manage carrier communication and performance including balancing cost and service level
Conflict resolution and problem solving
Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports
Retain overall ownership of assigned areas of responsibility
Onboarding of new customers and/or services with existing accounts
Management of resource and planning for operations success
Ensure that financial discrepancies are being actively worked for root cause identification and resolution
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years Transportation or 3PL experience
1 year People Management Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Process improvement and/or Lean Six Sigma certification
Intermediate proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite
