As a Parts Representative at Everidge you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about parts and service and to handle and resolve complaints.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Receives customers' requests by phone or email, analyzes requests, provides information requested or ascertains who best provides the information, and routes the request to the proper person.
Analyzes transactions, corrects records, and adjusts errors.
Searches company records under ZIP code, name, account number, etc., using CRT, computer printout, or requisition information from factory.
Traces status of orders.
Resolve customer questions related to orders, takes orders as needed.
Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
Writes up order, price quotations, and similar data to customer, as required.
Contacts customers to ascertain data omitted on orders.
Has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, and similar data, as required.
Prepares and forwards preliminary paperwork to returns and replacements on problem orders.
Assists in returns and replacements as needed.
Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor.
Works with vendors on parts supersession and obsolete parts.
Participates with vendor quality and initial parts failure testing.
Trend’s part usage and failures; suggests rework, re-engineering and upgrades/replacement as necessary.
Mentor and help train Service Parts Team members.
Education/Experience:
High School Graduate, GED, Technical School Graduate, or equivalent work experience
Ability to compose correspondence directed at internal and exterior customers
Minimum 1 years’ experience with a technical product line requiring assembly or field installation preferred
Strong Customer Service background with proven interpersonal and persuasive skills
Possess a take charge and get it done attitude!
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, Etc:
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
Exceptional customer service and communication skills required both verbal and written
Proven skills in time management and multi-tasking responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and an independent problem solver
Ability to expand work hours to meet deadlines and workload fluctuations
