We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System and Network Administrator to join our dynamic team at Tessolve in San Jose, CA. Tessolve is a leading provider of semiconductor engineering solutions, offering a wide range of services including test, validation, and design engineering. As a System and Network Administrator at Tessolve, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer Windows and Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Manage Windows Active Directory Server, including user account management, group policy implementation, and domain controller configuration.
Perform RHEL OS administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and software updates.
Utilize disk imaging and cloning techniques to streamline system deployment and recovery processes.
Configure and troubleshoot WiFi devices to ensure seamless connectivity for users.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on laptops and servers, working closely with vendors for repairs and replacements when necessary.
Implement and maintain basic network concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Windows Active Directory Server Administration.
Experience with RHEL OS Administration.
Familiarity with disk imaging and cloning tools.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot WiFi devices.
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills for laptops and servers.
Basic understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
