This position is responsible for managing the Highway Sponsorship Program in addition to other property management activities for the Office of Land Management. Duties include training internal and external customers on the Highway Sponsorship Program, seeking out opportunities and working with external partners to take full advantage of the Program, in coordination with the Center for Community Connections and Sustainability and Public Health Division as well as other right of way programs such as "Adopt a Highway," Landscaping Partnerships, etc.
In addition, assisting in the establishment of the Alternative Uses of Right of Way Committee to guide and support the Department's property management activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of professional supervisory experience OR three years of advanced professional experience demonstrating:
Experience providing work direction to others, demonstrating the ability to successfully motivate and direct the work of other staff.
Planning and program development experience relating to city/urban planning, economic development, community development, or real estate development.
Budget analysis experience sufficient to oversee program/section budget and staffing budget.
Experience working with internal and external partners and leading stakeholder groups.
