Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Admin is responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer and technicians - which involves scheduling repairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billing repair orders, entering work orders into computer system and ordering shop supplies according to procedures.
Service Admin Responsibilities:
Checking/updating repair order statuses.
Assisting with answering phone calls.
Help out with prepping/ invoicing tickets- request or follow up on PO's.
Coding vendor invoices.
File service department invoices.
Help fill in at the service counter in someone's absence.
At times could be asked to do some pick up and deliveries with company vehicle.
Help monitor and adjust vehicle status in our operating system.
