As a Cloud Engineer you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation of our partners' infrastructure to the cloud. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work at the intersection of finance and technology, leveraging cutting-edge cloud solutions to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
Proven experience in cloud engineering roles, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure for banking or financial services organizations.
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles, platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and architectural best practices.
Strong understanding of banking and financial services regulations, compliance requirements, and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX).
Hands-on experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions for banking and financial services applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and design cloud architectures that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Implement and optimize cloud-based services, including compute, storage, networking, and security, to support critical banking operations and customer-facing applications.
Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and cloud-native orchestration platforms.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and security, proactively identify and resolve issues, and implement best practices for cost optimization and resource utilization.
Implement and manage cloud security controls, including identity and access management, data encryption, and compliance monitoring, to protect sensitive financial data and mitigate cyber threats.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
