We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Managerin our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of generalists focused on managing associate relations for designated areas.
Essential Functions
Provide guidance, coaching and training to human resources representatives and/or management and assist with resolution of questions, concerns, and/or issues that arise
Manage and administer human resources programs, policies, procedures and training
Analyze department costs and work closely with executive and HR management team to evaluate, update, and/or generate more efficient and cost-effective company policies, procedures, programs, and/or training solutions
Work closely with legal counsel on compliance related matters; participate in internal and external audits
Train team members and participate in the review and feedback to managers of associate performance management
Partner with the professional development team on talent reviews, succession development and human resources focused training
Analyze HR metrics and generate strategic plans to address areas for improvement
Develop and deliver human resources training
Serve as a company representative within the community
Assist with business activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and integrations as needed
Confer with managers and supervisors to guide and coach on employee relations matters and company policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field AND a minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of associate relations experience
2+ years of previous experience supervising associates
Must have proven experience dealing with confidential Human Resources matters
Proficient computer skills in Word and Excel
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be positive, flexible, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and lead in a fast-paced environment
Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience
Must be willing to travel
