Job Description:

The Order Puller’s primary job function is to prepare work orders by selecting the ordered products correctly, from the rack location and distributing them to the staging point, by using handheld scanning equipment. This position will report directly to the production supervisor and take directions from both the supervisor and lead.

II.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for selecting and scanning products listed on Pick Ticket that is received daily.

· Transport loaded cart to the correct staging point.

· Prior machine operating experience preferred.

· Will consistently perform pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs. of production within 6 – 25 feet.

· This role requires you to be on your feet for 8 hours or more, continuously walking and fulfilling orders.

· Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors, and other employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred


Experience:

No work experience required.


Skills:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

Ability to recognize and identify letter and number combinations.

Ability to work closely with others or in a team environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.

Ability to use tape measure effectively.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Manufacturing warehouse environment with occasional temperature changes and humidity.

Constant noise in atmospheric conditions with frequent vibrations

Working around equipment and machinery


Equipment Used:

Handheld equipment and software.

Working knowledge of computers.

Constant walking, standing, handling, hearing, seeing (reading, driving, perception) grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation of hands, and reaching above and below shoulder level.

Frequent bending, squatting, twisting (neck/waist), hearing, and repetitive use of hands.

Constant talking (communicating) and seeing (color vision)
