About the Position



We are seeking Fire Protection Engineers to join our growing Professional Design Services team in the Honolulu, HI office.


The ideal candidate possesses 5
+ years of related fire protection engineering experience (internship and professional experience included). The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of engineering professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary projects. Please note that a PE/FPE license (or passage of the PE/FPE exam) is required for this position.

Our Professional Design team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, the nation, and the world and our existing client base includes transportation, oil and gas, renewables, government (local, state, and federal) , Department of Defense, private development, and water resources and restoration. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.



Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering
  


• 
  5+ years of experience (internship and professional experience included)


• 
  PE/FPE License Earned or PE/FPE Exam Passage and Awaiting Licensure
  


• Proficient with relevant software such as Revit or AutoCad
  


• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.


• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional Information


Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Fire Protection Engineer III with a salary range of $74,800.00 - $157,600.00 .
