Industrial Hygienist (Field Based) at Environmental Resources Management Inc in Livingston, Montana

Job Description:

ERM is hiring an Industrial Hygienist to play a key role in delivery of EHS services for a project-based opportunity in Big Timber, MT. This is a full-time (56 hours/week), limited-term role for a duration of 2 weeks with possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and execute IH sampling, send out sample results, results analysis and interpret data results and provide recommendations within a comprehensive report. 




• Meet with customers to understand concerns and plan for next steps to close out IH concerns.




• Work with new Real time IH equipment and trouble shoot if necessary.




• Have some experience with Qualitative exposure assessments and chemical approval.




• Have some level of comfort working with analytical lab to determine best sampling/analysis method for sampling plan. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the field as an industrial hygienist.




• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene or CIH.




• Underground mining experience strongly preferred.




• MSHA certified a plus.




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




• Ability to establish effective working relationships with client and users.




• Ability to communicate clearly regarding all aspects related to given work assignments.




• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.




• Strong background in chemistry.




• Interest in pursuing certifications in fields such as industrial hygiene, ergonomics, radiation, fire protection, risk management or training would be desirable.
