Job Description:

Mission

The position is responsible for practicing and applying Design Reliability and Robustness processes, tools, software across several squads in its line of business or in its Hub to ensure that Schneider Electric products and solutions are designed to be safe, robust and reliable.

Main responsibilities


  1. Understand and promote the business' DfSR of their squads

  2. Build the adoption of the key stakeholders on the business' DfSR of their squads

  3. Assess and identify the critical elements of the offer at design level (system, subsystem, assembly, component))

  4. Put together the key drivers of a logical DfSR risk assessment plan based on the risk level for the offer from safety, robustness and reliability perspective

  5. Develop, execute, and report DfSR plan on a regular basis

  6. Train and coach design engineering community with DfSR trainings, methods and tools to reach Robustness and Reliability targets

Qualifications and experiences
  • Education: 4 years Bachelor degree or 5 years Post Graduate degree / Master in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics of Firmware Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Higher degrees especially in Reliability engineering is preferred

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or quality field; Experience in Design for reliability (DfSS, DfSR), power management, electronics, electromechanical system is highly preferred

  • Certified DFSS Black Belt internally at a leading company

  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) at minimum or internally certified Reliability expert.

  • Experience with p-diagram driven DFMEA development

  • Advanced working level experience with Reliasoft and Minitab

  • Experience working in Agile Product Development environment

  • Customer oriented mindset, including Customer application knowledge

  • Intercultural skills and experience

  • Ability to mobilize and build cross-functional activities

  • Coaching skills is a plus
