Kforce has a client that is seeking a BA/QA in Fort Wayne, IN.
Responsibilities:
BA/QA will lead workshops and interviews with clear agenda, appropriate and prepared questions related to eliciting specific requirements from variety of business teams
Develop business and functional/system requirement documentation
Create, update, and validate business processes and technical diagrams
Conduct demos, validation workshops and facilitate testing meetings and coordinate user acceptance testing
Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, systems requirements, and test cases
Work with key project stakeholders to analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; Ensure the system design fits the needs of the users
As a BA/QA, you will write test plans and test scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems
Align activities and estimate effort in support of project plan and keep commitments
Report on metrics and progress for requirements, testing, and training activities
Prepare test data to meet test case conditions if necessary
Perform system/performance/regression testing as well as end-to-end testing with other applications and interfaces
Establish quality assurance standards and measures
Develop and deliver internal training related to software product rollout(s)
Collaborate with developers, analysts, project managers, operations, and stakeholders on testing and deployment activities
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited degree granting college/university or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
3+ years of experience working as Quality Assurance Analyst
Experience writing use cases and activity diagrams
Experience with Azure DevOps or other Quality Management/Testing tool solution
Experience with Jira or other Requirements documentation tool or solution
Experience creating and delivering training
Understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, including best practices
Understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies, including best practices
Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Proficient in process mapping tools
Proficient in testing and quality assurance tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Process minded approach with experience building detailed process flows
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Nice to have:
Experience with data analysis, field validation, and mapping
Experience with fleet, operations, and/or inventory applications/technology
Experience with data taxonomy and data quality
Experience with IT methodologies and frameworks such as ITIL, Agile, COBIT, etc.
Development and implementation of automated regression testing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
