Senior Data Analyst at Kforce Inc in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with approximately 10 years of hands-on experience in data analysis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations that contribute to the company's overall success. This will be a 12+ month assignment, if successful.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs including deeply understanding how to interpret their requirements and apply logic on source data tables, creating meaningful metrics and attributes


• Analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and trends from various source systems (across financials, sales, marketing, customer experience and product data)


• Aggregate disparate raw data sets through Alteryx data flows to provide meaningful data marts that unlock insights


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues


• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through regular audits and validation processes


• Interpret complex data sets and translate findings


• Provide regular updates on key performance indicators and relevant metrics, monitoring for trends, anomalies and opportunities


• Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field


• Approximately 10 years of professional experience in data analysis and statistical modeling


• Proficiency in SQL or other relevant programming languages


• Proficiency in Alteryx


• Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
