Kforce has a client that is seeking an Alteryx Data Analyst in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Duties Include:
Analyze complex datasets to derive meaningful insights and trends
Explores data and discovers patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies, and trends
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards for reporting purposes
Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in data to aid decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs)
Clean, transform, and organize data for analysis using tools like SQL, Python, or R
Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate findings
Compile data analysis findings as high-quality custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Create visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives
Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and troubleshooting data-related issues
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all data-related activities
Utilize Alteryx Designer to automate data preparation, blending, and analysis tasks
Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows to streamline data processes and improve efficiency
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs using Alteryx tools
Perform advanced analytics, predictive modeling using Alteryx predictive tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Alteryx workflows
Design and implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of output
Build interactive dashboards and reports using Alteryx outputs integrated with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Provide training and support to team members on Alteryx best practices and techniques
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Science related field; Equivalent experience is acceptable
5+ years of work experience in data analysis
Experience supporting full Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles (including understanding business processes, gathering user requirements, design, testing, deployment, and training)
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
Advanced Alteryx experience required
Advanced analytical capability
Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Must have ability to communicate, motivate and organize projects throughout the company
Advanced experience in Jira, Confluence, Excel, Tableau and VBA preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
