Performs administrative work of a complex nature for the Chief Credit Officer; quantitative data analysis; general office functions; responsible for the administration of various reports specific to the department, interacts with the department head’s direct reports as appropriate and performs related work as required. May perform skilled clerical work of average difficulty. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Credit Officer. This role requires a high level of confidentially.

Essential Functions

  • Composes and prepares routine correspondence for signature.
  • Independently prepares recurring reports for signature.
  • Arranges meetings and conferences.
  • Maintains control files of matters in progress
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly credit reports including written summary analysis of the quarterly report and trends.
  • Performs quantitative data analysis of credit reports; performing mathematical calculations including averages and percentages, verifying numbers reported, correcting any errors.
  • Preparing monthly past due and maturities reports.
  • Working with the mortgage department on reports.
  • Meeting deadlines for all report submissions.
  • Managing the department timesheets including PTO requests and weekly timesheet approvals.
  • Responsible for Executive Loan Committee meeting book preparation; using director’s desk to create the meeting book for each week’s ELC meeting to include all loan presentations, providing each approved loan package to the designated Relationship Manager and submitting the approved meeting book.
  • Handles corporate credit card approval requests and ensure monthly statement with all supporting receipts are submitted to accounting.
  • Answers the telephone.
  • Maintains a calendar for the executive and assures that complete information is available for all matters.
  • Preparing fed-ex shipment for documents to be sent out.
  • Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records.
  • Ordering department supplies as needed.


Other Duties

  • May attend meetings and conferences to furnish information and take notes.
  • May receive and resolve or refer customer complaints.
  • May give assistance and advice to subordinate employees.
  • Interacts professionally with direct reports and other departments.
  • Complies with all policies and procedures as applied to the Bank's BSA/AML policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities

  • Good knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation; banking practices, procedures and documents.
  • Ability to establish, maintain and prepare bank records and reports.
  • Ability to perform mathematical and statistical functions.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public at all levels.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years’ experience performing complex and responsible duties preferred.
  • Advanced training in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Jack Henry/Silverlake, Synergy and JHA Know preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Salary Grade = 8

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Travel

Travel may be required for this position.
