In this position, you will play an important role in supporting the operations of our NYC campus while actively contributing to community-building efforts. You will be responsible for managing campus facilities, and ensuring a welcoming and functional environment for all community members. Additionally, you will serve as a local leader - growing our NYC Community of partners, prospective learners, students and alumni in partnership with your team.

You will also manage campus facilities, ensuring a comfortable environment for all community members. Each day may look a bit different as you step in to help wherever there is a need - leading campus tours or info sessions, welcoming and hosting guests, coordinating with the building superintendent or cleaning company, organizing the space or setting up furniture for an event, or making the coffee each day to keep everyone happy and well-caffeinated!

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships within the local tech community, leveraging networking opportunities to expand partnership opportunities and increase campus visibility.
  • Conduct interviews for prospective learners interested in our NYC campus-based programs, hosting campus tours or events, providing personalized guidance and support throughout the admissions process, including assisting with the application process, answering questions via phone, email, and on-campus, and optimizing conversion to enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions data, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Represent Flatiron School and be an expert on our course offerings; may be asked to attend industry meetups and networking events on behalf of Flatiron School.
  • In partnership with our Events Manager and Partnerships & Community Manager, provide support for campus events to engage current and prospective learners, alumni, and industry professionals. Occasional weeknights and weekends are required.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the NYC campus, including facility maintenance, supply management, and coordination with building management.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and collaborative environment that is a safe and comfortable place for learning and socializing, upholding campus policies and procedures to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all community members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related inquiries and concerns, providing timely assistance and resolution as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with geographically distributed colleagues, including Admissions, Community and Education teams.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for Tech - you know the local scene well and are excited to learn more.
  • An effective and trusted communicator. You are patient, proactive and personable, and you can communicate and connect with almost anyone . You are comfortable addressing large groups of people and are a natural group facilitator.
  • Extremely organized and can manage time effectively. You know how to create a schedule and how to adapt when things deviate from the schedule.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • You are proactive, self-motivated and adaptable.
  • You are excited to become an expert on all things related to Flatiron School, and to share it with others.
  • Experience or interest in sales required
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for the Tech Community and creating positive experiences for others.
  • Experience meeting or exceeding clear quantitative goals. Experienced using CRMs and databases (we use Salesforce) is preferred.

Expected Compensation

  • $50K-$60K
