RS&H is currently seeking a Technical Training Program Manager to join our team.

Job Overview:

RS&H is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Development Program Manager to lead the development, implementation, and delivery of our technical and professional training initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing and delivering technical training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

Essential Functions:

Program Development

  • Design and develop comprehensive technical and professional training and development programs, incorporating industry-specific content and best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical content and insights for the creation of engaging and effective training materials.
  • Utilize instructional design methodologies to create meaningful learning experiences.

Program Implementation and Delivery

  • Oversee the seamless implementation of technical and professional training programs, managing logistics, schedules, and resources efficiently.
  • Conduct hands-on technical training sessions and workshops, ensuring participants gain practical skills and knowledge.
  • Leverage various delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning, to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Skills Needs Analysis

  • Conduct thorough and regular needs assessments to identify gaps in skills and knowledge across different departments.
  • Work closely with technical leads and managers to understand specific training requirements for their teams.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and monitor measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously enhance content, delivery methods, and overall program effectiveness.

Project Management

  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines for talent development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate training into broader organizational development strategies and ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives.

Technology Integration

  • Explore and implement innovative training technologies to enhance technical program delivery and engagement, including e-learning platforms, simulation tools, and virtual labs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate into evolving training strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in training and development, organizational development, education, HR or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mminimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, including proven experience as a talent development program manager and adult learning theories.
  • Advanced skills in the full Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of learning management platforms
  • Must possess excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Requires knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum design, including experience implementing this knowledge, as well as proven experience as an effective
    facilitator.
  • Requires strong attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload with shifting priorities. Also requires the ability to take initiative, follow through, and maintain confidentiality
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner. Must also possess solid analytical, decision-making, researching and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR professional certification.
  • Instructional design certification and/or specific training certifications to teach technical and professional materials (e.g., Certified to teach Crucial Conversations).
  • Experience working in an architecture or engineering firm.
