The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to assist in the effective execution of promotions and marketing campaigns across multiple channels including, digital, social and email to drive viewership and retention with our product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Execute content and marketing promotions to drive viewership, retention and promotion, with a strong focus on digital, social and leading the email program execution, including fostering and growing the email database.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing brand strategy and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce assets and ensure successful marketing initiatives.
Organize marketing events, promotions, and campaigns.
Support the development and management of marketing materials.
Maintain marketing calendars, schedules, marketing performance reports, and budget management and planning documents.
Organize meetings and prepare meeting agendas.
Prepare and distribute post-meeting notes and team project status documents.
Identify and conduct tests to determine ways to optimize the brand experience, especially across digital, social and email.
Consistently look at data and analytics and provide recommendations for optimizations, including test & learns and pilot programs.
Use best practices and testing to promote the brand to increase brand awareness, consumer reach and sales.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
Preferred marketing, branding or communications agency experience
Experience with marketing tools and digital platforms
Experience using data to inform strategy and execution
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Strong copywriting, content creation, data and insights, creative ideation and communications skills
Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Big picture thinking plus relentless attention to detail
Solid strategic input, excellent execution and communication skills
Strong project management skills across diverse facets of marketing
