Job Title:Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor - EndodonticsDepartment:Dentistry | Endodontics

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeking applicants for a full-time clinical track faculty member at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the Division of Endodontics. The primary responsibilities for this position will be contributing to didactic and clinical instruction in the predoctoral and graduate programs of the division. Other duties include supporting the overall mission of the division, practicing in the college's intramural OSU Dental Faculty Practice, participating in university and college governance, and contributing to the college's continuing education program.



Candidates must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in endodontics. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at www.dental.ohio.gov/licensinginfo.stm. Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Endodontics is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.



The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality and collaboration among members of various education, research, service, and cultural communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the
ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential.
