Responsibilities

As a Test Systems Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and technicians to develop and implement testing solutions for our aerospace products. You will work hands-on with setting up and conducting electromechanical test systems. You will also be responsible for analysis and validation of test data. You will also work with circuit boards, assemblies, and industrial controls to help us maintain and improve our testing equipment.

Test Engineer Intern Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement test plans for aerospace products
  • Set up test systems and conduct testing
  • Analyze and validate test data
  • Build and repair aircraft harnesses and test harnesses
  • Work with circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies
  • Upgrade lab equipment and test systems as needed
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab space

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering program (e.g. electrical, mechanical)
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, LabVIEW)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skill
