As a new Sales Manager for TQL, you will be leading a mid-to-large team of highly motivated logistics sales representatives, responsible for driving revenue and providing unmatched service to our customers. This is a highly competitive, transactional sales industry, that requires a 24/7 mentality, quick decision making, and incredible customer service to be successful. Historically we promote managers internally, but our rapid growth and expansion has created an opportunity for a highly driven sales leader to join the TQL family.

What you’ll be doing:
Driving revenue through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps
Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training entry-level sales reps
Assisting sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue
Holding the team accountable for daily activity and results
Ensuring employees maintain the highest level of integrity
Coordinating the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business
Occasional travel to meet with prospects and customers
Monitoring sales reports, acting as needed, and communicating trends and market conditions to senior leadership
Working with the Learning and Development department to help maintain and continuously enhance sales training programs
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of sales management experience; preferably leading a team of 10+
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Transportation or business services industry experience is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and motivate others
Ability to be on call 24/7/365
Open to relocation throughout your career if needed
Capable of providing strong professional references – customer, superior, peer and direct-report
