(Contingent upon available funding): 11.50 - 11.50, Hourly Work Schedule: Some flexibility required during the work week. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: This position will assist with all phases of maintenance at Lake Carl Blackwell grounds and operations. Responsible for safely operating power equipment, including lawn mower, weedeater, small tractor, chainsaw, or hand equipment. Required to assist with carpentry, cleaning of toilets, minor construction, painting, plumbing tasks, and any task necessary to maintain the safety and appearance of the grounds at Lake Carl Blackwell. This position requires working the outdoors, and tolerating extreme temperatures and weather. The position also requires frequent, strenuous physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, carrying, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED and one year of grounds or farm work experience. Valid driver's license is required. Ability to follow directions and use appropriate safety measures for tools and equipment used to perform tasks. Ability to effectively use grounds maintenance tools, and the ability to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team. This position requires working outdoors, tolerating extreme temperatures and weather.
