Nature & Purpose of Position:
To assist the grounds department in the caretaking of Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Republic of Texas Presidential Library grounds, and buildings.
Other Requirements for the Position:
Familiar with basic groundskeeping, assist in mowing, trimming, use of tools, mowers, and small tractor.
Knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs. May assist and be responsible for trash, garbage pickup, minor repairs on cabins. May assist with light custodial work and room set-ups for Museum events.
