Job Description

The Lead Multimodality Technologist position performs all duties of the Multimodality Technologist in addition to coordinating daily workflow, daily assignments, patient flow, and provides support to the operations of the department. The lead provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site in addition to the maintenance of accreditation preparedness for the site. The lead will provide assistance in assessing technologists' performance for annual merit increases as well as orient new staff to the department. The lead may cover additional Imaging Supervisor/Manager responsibilities as necessary in the Supervisor/Managers' absence or should a vacancy occur. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will be required to perform DR plain film x-ray and at least two of the following modalities: MR, Ultrasound, CT, CI, VI. Technologists must be able to show annual competency in each of the modalities in which they work as a multi-modality technologist. Technologists will be required to provide patient education and quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division, under the direction of the Imaging Services Associate Director. This position may include the same activities at any of our Imaging Sites.

Minimum Requirements

For Hire: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Advanced Registry in at least two of the following required, CT, MRI, ULS, CI, VI. Current Radiography ODH licensure required. Minimum Associates degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum of 2 years' experience in at least 2 advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) required.
