Using synthetic high-strength fibers such as Kevlar© and Vectran©, Warwick is always creating new weaving coating and laminating technologies to provide innovative solutions for our complex customer applications. Warwick Mills has over 60 patents or patents pending and is continuously expanding their premium product lines through research, development, and invention. Warwick is looking for an Entry Level Research and Development Technician to join our product development team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Engineering teams to fulfill customer requirements


• Interpret customer requirements and use available resources to create solutions applicable to the problems presented.


• Communicate project status with team and participate in program reviews.


• Follows the design process to create solutions to problems


• Work with the team to create and implement the solutions and transfer to manufacturing


• Run research activities with careful attention to documentation, review and analysis

Qualifications:

• Strong team orientation


• A degree in an Engineering, Product Development, or related field


• Knowledge of CAD software basics


• Light coding experience or desire to learn


• Self-motivated and detail-oriented


• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment


• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills


• Ability to learn new technology


• Good oral and written communication skills
